General Terms and Conditions / Accommodation Rules

1. Basic Provisions

1.1. These General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter referred to as “GTC”) regulate the rights and obligations between the operator of the accommodation Aurum Apartments (hereinafter referred to as the “Operator”) and the guest (hereinafter referred to as the “Guest”).

1.2. By making a reservation and completing the online check-in, the guest confirms that they have read these GTC, understand them, and fully agree with them.

1.3. Aurum Apartments is not a hotel. It is a short-term apartment rental without a reception, without catering, and without hotel services.

2. Accommodation and Number of Persons

2.1. Accommodation is permitted exclusively for persons listed in the online check-in.

2.2. The number of persons stated in the check-in is the maximum number of persons allowed to stay in the apartment.

2.3. If, for example, 2 persons are listed in the reservation, the online check-in must also include 2 persons. Only these persons are allowed to stay in the apartment – without exception. In case of a visit, it is necessary to contact the accommodation provider and request permission.

2.4. Any visits, accompanying persons, “just for a moment”, or “just stopping by” are strictly prohibited.

2.5. The apartment is not intended for celebrations, parties, gatherings, bachelor/bachelorette parties, or any other social events.

3. Prohibition of Visitors and Parties – Contractual Penalty

3.1. The following are strictly prohibited in the apartments:

• visits by non-accommodated persons
• organizing parties, celebrations, or loud gatherings
• excessive noise and disturbing the night peace

3.2. Violation of these rules = contractual penalty of €100 for each unauthorized person present.

3.3. Payment of the contractual penalty does not release the guest from the obligation to compensate for any damage caused to the apartment equipment or property.

3.4. In the event of a serious violation of the rules, the operator is entitled to immediately terminate the accommodation without the right to a refund for the stay.

3.5. A serious violation includes, in particular, failure to comply with the prohibitions stated in points 3.1, 5.1, 5.3, and 5.4.

4. Check-in, Identification and Guest Registration

4.1. Before arrival, the guest is obliged to complete the online check-in truthfully and fully in accordance with the valid legislation of the Slovak Republic.

4.2. Accommodation of persons who are not registered in the check-in is prohibited.

4.3. The operator is entitled to verify compliance with the number of persons through a camera system in common areas and technical records of entries.

5. Smoking, Drugs, Animals

5.1. Smoking is strictly prohibited in the apartments and common areas, including electronic cigarettes (smoking on balconies is permitted).

5.2. Violation of the smoking ban = contractual penalty of €200.

5.3. The use of narcotic and psychotropic substances in the apartments is prohibited.

5.4. Animals are not allowed unless expressly agreed in advance.

6. Breakfast and Services

6.1. Aurum Apartments do not provide breakfast or catering services.

6.2. This is not hotel accommodation – the guest acknowledges the self-service nature of the accommodation.

6.3. A minibar is available in the Aurum apartment. Items taken from the minibar must be paid for.

7. Liability for Damage

7.1. The guest is responsible for all damage caused to the apartment equipment.

7.2. The damage must be compensated in full according to the real cost of repair or replacement.

7.3. The guest is also responsible for the actions of persons whom they have allowed to enter the apartment without authorization.

8. Night Quiet Hours

8.1. The guest must respect quiet hours from 22:00 to 07:00.

8.2. Repeated disturbance of night quiet hours is grounds for immediate termination of the stay without compensation.

9. Termination of Accommodation by the Operator

9.1. The operator has the right to immediately terminate the stay without refund if:

• the prohibition of visitors is violated
• a party is organized or night quiet hours are disturbed
• property damage occurs
• the guest seriously violates these GTC

10. Final Provisions

10.1. These GTC are binding for every guest from the moment of reservation confirmation and completion of the online check-in.

10.2. The operator reserves the right to update these GTC unilaterally.

10.3. Legal relations are governed by the legal order of the Slovak Republic.
